Since this is my inaugural post as a guest blogger on TWP, I figured it was best to start with the basics by highlighting one of the things every bride wants on her wedding day:
perfect skin.

BRIDAL BEAUTY | Guide to Getting Perfect Skin: Base Basics
Perfect skin doesn't happen overnight - even those "natural" make-up looks in magazines actually take a lot of time and make-up product! Getting your best skin yet starts with your daily cleansing and moisturizing routine. At least a couple of months before your Big Day, visit a cosmetic or skin care counter for help with establishing a regular skin care routine (if you don't have one already). Doing this well in advance of your wedding will allow time for your skin to adjust to the new routine and ultimately for it to appear healthy and smooth. Try to avoid foods that are highly concentrated in oils, fats, caffeine and sugar especially as you approach the Big Day. Drink plenty of water and get rest where you can to help achieve that healthy glow.

Do any tweezing and facials at least one week in advance of the Big Day to ensure any redness has time to subside.

Being proactive about taking care of your skin will help ensure you achieve that flawless look on your wedding day. After all, a great make-up starts with a great base!
